Spencer

March 2007-January 2021

From the very first day we met Spencer, we knew he was a fighter. He was found in a bag with his brothers and sisters and was brought to a local business. He was brought home by my grandfather, but when he wasn't able to give Spencer the care he needed, he was then taken to the Winnipeg Pet Rescue Shelter. As soon as we heard this, we rushed to the shelter to bring him home. We had love for Spencer right away and he quickly became the king of the house! When he was diagnosed with cancer, he fought a courageous battle. Sadly, he lost that battle with his family by his side.
In his 13 years he loved his temptation treats, fresh canned tuna, butter and much more. Anytime we got a new box in the house, Spencer had to make sure he jumped in there. He even loved laying and rubbing himself in egg cartons. Spencer loved the summer season when he could go outside, relax, eat grass and bask in the sun. Spencer loved clean linen sheets, making sure to always sneak into any open bed to take his naps. He helped us in such a special way, especially with love and always putting a smile on our faces. He had the ability to open our hearts and created a calming presence in our home. He taught us unconditional love and we thank him for that. As this is a huge loss physically, he will always be with us in spirit. He will be greatly missed, especially in the morning when he would wake us up for breakfast or when we came home from work. He always made sure to welcome us home with a warm meow! He was our beautiful baby boy; Spence, Chuchi, Pup and Boo-boo.

Rest In Paradise.

"For one so small, you seem so strong, my arms will hold you, keep you safe and warm. This bond between us can't be broken, I will be here don't you cry, 'Cause you'll be in my heart from this day on now and forever more...always."
