McClane

December 2006 - January 27 2021

At 4 or 5 years, McClane (our 4th dog) allowed us to become his new forever family. Staff at the Pound had named him Kringle (as it was near Xmas), but it really didn't fit his personality. We soon found out he was a purebred Norwegian Elkhound, a breed we knew nothing about, so we joined an online group & learned so much about his kind! Two interesting bits of trivia~his breed doesn't smell 'doggy' ever, & they don't have bad breath! It took no time at all for him to be at home with us & the past 10 years have been filled with so much unconditional love from him & much laughter from us. Our home is much quieter without him now, & he is sorely missed but we believe he is at the Rainbow Bridge now, no longer in pain, playing with his 3 siblings...we love you, McClane!
