Molly Girl

You had seen it all. Our marriage. Two homes. 3 fur siblings. 3 small humans added to the family. You saw so much love, struggles, life. You were a gift for Michael, although you were a gift to us all. You were Mikes first baby. Our first dog. You were Scarlett’s only companion. Daisy’s elder. You were a fighter. Through a knee replacement, to the loss of your hind legs completely. Through it all you never complained once. Not one whine, not one whimper. You would have fought until the bitter end. You weren’t perfect, no one is. You destroyed many things from make up brushes, to shoes and cords. To wardrobes, doors and metal kennels. You were our little garburator. You loved to stop and smell the roses. Literally every tree, every corner. You taught me to take it all in. You loved to swim and sit by the fire. We thought last summer we were going to lose you, but we got almost whole extra year with you. Thank you Molly for adding love to our family. You will be dearly missed, but goodness do we know Scarlett needed a friend. As she was never good at that. So until we see each other again you remain in our hearts. This is love from beginning to end. You were ours, we were yours.
