The following is a beautiful memoriam written by a family member which expresses the sentiments of the whole family:

It's amazing that Brak made it to his sixteenth birthday! What an exceptional dog. I'm so glad I got to be there to celebrate. Even though he was old, he was still adorable with his special cupcake!

We've seen Brakky go from a little Ewok-faced puppy you could hold in your arms to a big, handsome, wheaten-haired boy. He always had plenty of energy, he got to play and smile a lot, and his meals just kept getting better with age (which I think motivated him to keep on living). He got doted upon when he wasn't feeling his best, and he was able to live and age gracefully. He's had a long, healthy life, surrounded by people who care so much for his well-being.

I will be thinking of our beloved Brak tonight, tomorrow, and in the weeks to come. He holds a special place within me. I wish him a happy voyage into the next life, and I know his journey will be comfortable and peaceful for him. We will miss him very much and already do.

Brak is a wonderful dog. He's always been incredibly good-natured, and has truly been a blessing to our house. He's opened up my heart for one, and I love him. I don't think I'll ever forget him.
