Zeek

June 15, 2010 - February 11, 2025

To be honest, we were not even planning on getting a dog. But a new litter of English Labrador Retrievers that we saw online caught our attention. I still remember the day we went to pick Zeek up. He was so tiny, quiet and reserved. We knew he was meant to be ours. Zeek ended up being the best dog ever. He was sweet, rambunctious, adventurous and playful. He got into mischief and every puddle, be it cold, muddy or deep, he would be in it.

He was such a happy dog, who lived his life with so much love and devotion. He was so happy to be anywhere we were. He enjoyed eating scraps of food that fell from the table, and enjoyed sneaking people's food if they were not looking.

In his last few years he slowed down and was not able to do many of the things he could before. But he was just content being by our side. He was happy and he wagged his tail until the very end.

Zeek was an amazing addition to our family. We had so many great memories and he provided unconditional love to us all, and will be missed. Until we meet again my sweet boy.
