To our miss piggy, girl bear pig, scar scar, our giant lap dog you could dress up but not take out. We will miss you every day. Your favourite spot was in the warmth, of the sun, of our couch snuggles or cozying in with your sister Molly. You loved teasing Moe and he loved stalking you. You loved bum scratches the most and didn’t dare tickle your feet. You wore mismatched leggings and had god awful breath. You followed me around like a tank of a shadow. Where I sat you were sure to be connected or directly on top of me. You loved all foods, fruits and veggies included but peanut butter and ice cream were your favourite. We shared many bike rides and walks, which were more stressful than relaxing, any other dog was viewed as a threat. You bravely but reluctantly followed Molly into the lake a few times, sat by many a campfires, preferably on your very own camp chair and had lots of car rides for special puppy treats.
My first fond memory of you was when you gently took a treat from our nephew. I knew then you would be a very special addition to our family.
My last memory will be of the sunlight dancing on your face, warming your body while the leaves fell in our yard, sharing our last kisses and I love yous, the smell of your fur and feeling your last heart beats. You were ours and we were yours.
