Oreo

Our sweet little Oreo Cookie came to us at 8 weeks old and filled our home & lives with the most amazing joy! He was our first baby & fur baby that came with us to work each day. He was a greeter & friendly distraction for patients. He very quickly became an important member of our staff over the past 15 years. Our two sons grew up with Oreo & loved him very much. Needless to say it was a very difficult decision for us to say goodbye. Dr. Liz was extremely professional, compassionate & emphatic throughout the entire process. She joined us in our backyard with our two sons on May 13th, 2021. Oreo was very calm & comfortable during the process and fell asleep so peacefully. We had plenty of time to say goodbye to our sweet little Oreo. Dr.Liz brought a beautiful wicker basket with soft blankets to place Oreo in as he departed us. We would like to thank Sunset Veterinary Care for providing us with the support and compassion it takes to provide this service with such grace & serenity.
