Thank you for the 15 years together our Hannah Banana! Life became so busy after the boys were born that we forget you've grown old. But that didn't stop you from loving us and treating us like we are your whole world.
Dad remembers picking you from a brood of 7 as the only pup (and the only female) who didn't shy away from him! Your life is a testament to that - how you would herd the kids when they get too rowdy, how you would run big fields like your life depended on it, how you would always drop the ball a meter from us to encourage us to get up and exercise with you when playing fetch. You would put yourself in front of the kids when they would get a scolding, and when Lucas & Grayson were born you would guard them day and night and act as their "Nana" and would bark when we left them crying. Our many stories with you are precious reminders of how your life touched ours in many unforgettable ways.
Your life was dedicated to the boys. You viewed them as your pups who you needed to keep an eye out. But age had come creeping in, and you started to fall and be in pain and lose the zest of life - and we knew it was time to let you go. And even at the last few days, you showed us that it was okay to let you go, and let you continue on your journey - because you have already fulfilled your life's work.
Thank you Hannah - for the life you've dedicated to us, not knowing you've become an irreplaceable part of ours.
