2012 - 2022

We are sorry to announce that our beloved April has lost her battle on this earth and has crossed the rainbow bridge.

We found April in April of 2012, wandering down the highway in Ontario. She didn’t have a collar or a tattoo. We tried to find an owner, but no one came forward. She became our beloved pet and a sister to Vega. April became a special dog and had a unique personality. She loved wandering around the bush, chasing critters and just being outside. She especially loved our walks at the Transcona Bio Reserve. We think that was her special place.

April was not a cuddly dog but she was a loving dog. She wanted to be with us all the time. She just wanted to make us happy.

We have so many fond memories of our girl that we will cherish forever. She had little things she would do that would fill our hearts with joy. There are just too many to list.

We would like to thank Dr. Nash for kindness and help during her visit.

Good bye April. We truly love you and miss you! And your recent sister, Kaya, misses you greatly. Say hi to Vega and you guys have fun wandering around the bush together.
