Annabelle

November 7, 2006 to July 3, 2023

Annabelle was the beautiful matriarch of our home and a wonderful friend. She set an example of unconditional love and tried her best to teach us to take it easy, to enjoy the sunshine, to get lots of rest and play and to be brave when facing challenges. We are grateful to Dr. Liz for her gentle and kind approach. Our hearts broke the day we had to say goodbye to Annabelle. We will forever cherish memories of her sprawling on her back knowing such cuteness would merit some treats, napping at the top of the stairs in her sunbeam, scaling to the top of our curtains when she was a kitten, coming down the stairs like a bunny, running happily to whoever was going to brush her long silky fur, gazing out the deck window at dawn and cuddling any of us the moment we sat down. And she was always up for a game of chase the laser and some good old fashioned yarn play. 16 years might seem like a long time, but it was not nearly long enough and we will always love and miss our beautiful Annabelle.
