Alma
2006 - Aug. 18, 2022
Alma came into her human mum's life around the age of eight, formerly being named Precious. Her squeaky voice, purr, and loud snore became the soundtrack of the house, and she made friends with everyone she met. A lover of wet food and snacks, Alma had a hearty appetite and enjoyed the finer things in life, including each nearly sunbeam, chasing real and fake mice, and strolls outside. She was the kindest, most snuggliest best friend. Alma (at first, begrudgingly) took in her little sister Audrey in 2018. Alma and Audrey became inseparable, and Audrey continues to miss her sister/Mama Alma, but continues to share her love with her new sister Ellie who wandered into our lives in 2020. Alma was patient and kind with Ellie, and also with her many foster cat siblings who came in and out of the house. There isn't a day that goes by that we don't talk about and miss our Goose. She was the kind of cat who came to the door each day when you'd arrive home, who would play fetch, and would begin snuggling on your lap before you were completely seated. We miss you so, so much, Amma Alma. We are deeply grateful for Dr Liz and the Sunset team for allowing us to help Alma over the rainbow bridge in her own house, with her human and her little sister by her side.
Thank you for the years, Alma. We'll love you always. Kisses and tummy rubs from your human Sara, Audrey, and Ellie. We'll see you on the other side. Love you Goose.
